The Hollywood Arts Collective is continuing to rise, at 1630 North Schrader Boulevard, in Hollywood. It is now four stories, over halfway to the full height, which will be seven levels. The anticipated project will bring much needed assistance to creatives in the area by providing low income housing, along with amenities geared towards the arts. The Actors Fund and Thomas Safran & Associates are behind the project.
Framing is rising at 7219 North Canby Avenue in Reseda. The site, a collaboration between Azure Development, Thomas Safran & Associates, and the City of Los Angeles, is entitled “Canby Woods West.” It will bring additional low-income housing to the area.
Construction of an affordable housing development for seniors at 7219-7227 North Canby Avenue in Reseda has been initiated. The project proposes the construction of a four-story building. William Hezmalhalch Architects is managing the design concept and construction. Real estate developers Azure Development and Thomas Safran & Associates have teamed up to develop the project.
Construction has progressed for a new six-story market gateway development at 213 E. Regent Street, Inglewood. Named Inglewood Market Gateway, it is a transit-oriented mixed-use development with five levels of residential units, retail, and commercial spaces.
Thomas Safran & Associates is the project developer. Withee Malcom Architects is managing the design concepts and construction.
Thatcher Yard has opened at 3233 South Thatcher Avenue in Venice’s Oxford Triangle, converting a former City maintenance yard into an intergenerational affordable housing community. The project provides 98 income-restricted homes for seniors and families across low-rise buildings topping out at three stories. The 2.14-acre site occupies the block bounded by Thatcher Avenue, Princeton Drive, Oxford Avenue, and Harbor Crossing Lane.
