A new residential project is taking shape and form at its site at 2820 West Rowena Avenue in Silver Lake. The project proposal includes the construction of six small lot residences, replacing two existing buildings on the site built in the 1930s.
Tracy A Stone Architect is responsible for the designs.
The project was approved by Los Angeles Planning Commission in 2020. The project brings six single-family dwellings arranged in a row. Each is expected to feature three bedrooms, a two-car garage, and a rooftop deck. Renderings reveal residences rising three stories in height and clad in stucco and horizontal siding.
City records list the owner and applicant behind the project as 2820 Rowena, Inc., a San Gabriel-based entity managed by Ji Hsiao Chung. The land last sold for $2.35 million in 2018. The project site is located half-a-mile east of the Rowena Reservoir.
