A mixed-use project is under construction at 9001 Santa Monica Boulevard in Hollywood, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of a luxury residential building with retail and restaurant space.
GPI Companies is the project developer. A team including Steinberg Hart, WORKPLAYS Studio, and Colacion Studio is responsible for the design concepts and construction.
Named after its address, Nine Thousand One will bring a five-story building featuring 46 residential units. Plans call for a mix of one-bedroom and two-bedroom dwelling units, as well as two-story townhomes. The apartments will range from 1,100 square feet to 2,200 square feet, each featuring a private balcony. A space spanning an area of 10,000 square feet allotted for retail shops and restaurants will be developed on the ground floor. A semi-subterranean parking garage will be developed on the site.
Eight of the apartments will be set aside at below-market rates. Onsite amenities are inclusive of a fitness center and a pool deck.
Completion is expected later this year. The project site is located in West Hollywood, neighboring other mixed-use projects.
