A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held to celebrate the inauguration of a permanent supportive housing project proposed at 3200 West Temple Street in Rampart Village, Los Angeles.

Non-profit organizations Search to Involve Pilipino Americans (SIPA) and Linc Housing Corp. are the project developers. D33 Design & Planning and Synthesis Design + Architecture are the project architects.

Named HiFi Collective, the project brings 63 affordable and permanent supportive housing units into a five-story building. In addition to the residences, the building will also feature onsite amenities, a small business center, and a community cultural center. All apartments are being filled through referrals from the County of Los Angeles Coordinated Entry System, with more than 40 percent of the building now occupied.

Additionally, SIPA’s new headquarters, scheduled for completion in Spring 2023, will be located on the third floor. Renderings reveal a contemporary podium-type building clad in stucco.

Residents of HiFi Collective have access to common areas including a community room, a computer lab, and a community kitchen. Likewise, on-site supportive services are provided – including mental and physical health services, employment counseling, job placement, education, and substance abuse counseling – with funding through Measure H.
