A new mixed-use project will soon be seen at 620 South Kingsley Drive in Koreatown, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of a building offering retail and residential spaces. Plans call for the demolition of the onsite office building.
Jamison Services Inc is the project developer.
The onsite office building will clear the way for the construction of a mixed-use project featuring residential and commercial spaces. The building will offer 127 apartments above 350 square feet of ground-floor commercial space. A two-level, 48-car subterranean parking garage will be developed on the site.
Requested entitlements for the proposed development include Transit Oriented Communities incentives allowing a larger structure than otherwise permitted by zoning regulations. In exchange, 14 of the new apartments are to be set aside for rent as deed-restricted affordable housing at the extremely low-income level.
Architectural plans reveal a contemporary podium-type building featuring a gym, a business center, a club room, and a rooftop amenity deck.
The project site is located on a mid-block site between 6th Street and Wilshire Boulevard. The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet.
