Development permits were submitted seeking the approval of demolishing an existing residence and constructing three single-family residences at 1814 Euclid Street in Pico, Santa Monica. Los Angeles based Bourgeoning Architects is managing the design concept and construction. Ecotone Studios is the landscape architect.
Named Euclid Apartments, the project features a plan proposing three residential units with one bedroom, bathroom, dining, kitchen and living space, garage space, front and back yard. The residence will have an in-unit trash room and laundry facility. Spaces for bike parking and storage are also provided. The property also has beautifully landscaped areas.
The project site is a 7, 500 square-foot lot and currently houses a two-bedroom one-bath residence. The residences are built on a single floor and the building facade is set to rise to an elevation of 16 feet. The facade features aluminum windows in bronze, fiberglass doors, cedar sidings, topped with a corrugated metal roof. The residences will also showcase cedar fencing throughout the property periphery.
The site is located in a residential walk and bike-friendly neighborhood. The estimated date of project completion has not been announced yet.
