The exterior of 640 South Curson Avenue quickly nears completion. Entitled “One Muesem Square Apartments,” the project, directly across the street from La Brea Park, has been in development by JH Snyder Company since 2019, with a $96.6 million permit valuation. JH Snyder is a longtime community development company in Los Angeles.
The 21 story highrise is 245 feet tall, 193 feet long, 110 feet wide. It also has two levels of underground parking for cars and bicycles. When completed, it will have 296,720 square feet of floor and contain 285 luxury apartments. Options will include studio, 1, and two-bedroom units, ranging from 495 square feet, 1300 square feet in size, and $2,755 to $7,800 in price. Some options will have the floor to ceiling windows, and others will have private balconies.
MVE Architects included many amenities in the design, such as a lobby, dog spa, grooming space, mailroom, two open-air patios, a games and activities deck, a lounge, flexible workspaces, a 24-hour fitness center, and a rooftop sports bar. There will also be a 10 foot by 15-foot spa and a 15 by 44-foot pool on the roof.
Local attractions include LACMA, Petersen Automotive Museum, and the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures. Whole foods and Trader Joe’s also provide local shopping. A waitlist for the apartments is currently open.
