Los Angeles-based developer Jamison Services Inc has successfully broken ground to initiate the construction of a new multi-family apartment complex at 689 South Catalina Street in Koreatown, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes an eight-story high building comprising of sixty-one apartment units.
DFH Architects is managing the design concept and construction.

The project site earlier housed a surface parking lot which is proposed to be replaced by the new apartment complex. The plans call for apartments offered as a mix of one and two-bedroom units. A commercial space spanning across an area of 490 square feet will be reserved on the ground floor. The project will also offer parking spaces for approximately 92 vehicles. The complex will also feature a rooftop deck, a business center, a gym, and a club room as on-site amenities.
The architecture style is modern and features large glass windows. The low-rise facade is expressed as sharp continuous bands of concrete with stucco and metal. The project got approved in 2019 and the estimated date of completion is 2023.
The project site is located at the intersection of Wilshire Street and Catalina Street.
