An apartment complex broke ground a few weeks ago and is under construction at 1130-1134 Orange Drive, Hollywood. The project proposal includes the construction of a six-story apartment complex with on-site parking. Foundation work can now be seen on the project site.
Los Angeles-based firm Massachi Industries is the project developer. OfficeUntitled is managing the design concepts and construction.

The proposed apartment complex will yield 24 residential units in the six-story structure. Parking space with a capacity of 21 vehicles will be designed on the site. The residences are offered as a mix of one and two-bedroom apartments with square footage ranging between 650 to 1,650 square feet. Renderings reveal a balcony/private patio for each of the residences with spaces ranging between 50-200 square feet. As a condition of approval, the developer will set aside three units as deed-restricted affordable housing.
The facade of the structure is expressed in a mid-century modern design with terraced decks, connecting the modern living to private outdoor spaces.
The project completion is anticipated in early 2023. The property site is situated north of Santa Monica Boulevard, neighboring a residential project.
