A new residential project has been proposed at 951 South Wilton Place in Koreatown, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of eight apartments that will replace a duplex from the 1920s on the site.

Hac Song Lee and Stella H. Nam are the property owners. Koreatown-based firm Andmore Partners is responsible for the design concepts and construction.

The new project will replace the existing double-story edifice with a four-story apartment building featuring eight residential units. The apartments are offered as one-bedroom units. A parking garage with a capacity of twelve vehicles will be developed at the street level.

Application material revealed a building designed in Revival style architecture featuring a roof made of terra cotta tiles. The design will meet the requirements of the HPOZ while not surpassing the height of adjacent buildings.

The Country Club Park-Wilshire Park-Windsor Village-Oxford Square Historic Preservation Overlay Zone (HPOZ) Board has scheduled a meeting on August 18 to review the project proposal.

The project site is located one block north of Olympic Boulevard.
