A new apartment building is in the works at 1047-1053 South Fedora Street in Pico-Union, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of a six-story apartment building offering a rooftop garden and onsite amenities.
Ferrier Architecture Studio is responsible for the design concepts. City records list project applicant as local physician Joe Englanoff.
Construction is in progress for a new multifamily residential development and will consist of a six-story edifice featuring 50 apartments. The project will offer five apartments at extremely low-income level. Parking for 23 vehicles will be provided on the site.
Renderings reveal a podium-type structure with a paseo above its second floor and a rooftop garden. Plans call for an exterior designed in black and red stucco, with an exposed staircase facing Fedora Street.
The project site sits one block east of Mariposa Avenue and is located just a short walk south of Olympic Boulevard.
