A redevelopment project plan has been announced for a century-old residence at 1807 North Van Ness Avenue in Hollywood, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the redevelopment of the 111-year-old single-family house into two duplexes and a new residence.
ROM Investments is the project applicant. Los Angeles-based architecture firm TALLER (pronounced tah-yehr) is responsible for the design concepts.

Plans call for the construction of two duplexes as well as a single-family home, replacing the 20th-century residence. The property is proposed to be arranged to also permit the construction of an accessory dwelling unit at a later date. Each unit will be built with three bedrooms.

The new construction will rise three-story high above at-grade parking. The building facade will be clad in fiberglass panels and capped by rooftop decks.

The project application has been submitted and is pending approval. The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet. The property site is located north of Hollywood Boulevard.
