A new residential project is under construction at 1950 North Central Avenue in Compton in Los Angeles County. The project proposal includes the development of 27 houses on a site that formerly housed industrial developments on the east side of Central Avenue.
Seal Beach-based Olson Company is the project developer.
Named Blossom Walk, construction work has commenced for a new development of single-family homes. The residences will yield a total residential area of up to 1,797 square feet. Blossom Walk will be a gated community with 27 single-family residences featuring floor plans of up to 4 bedrooms.
Each house will include full driveways, 2-car side-by-side garages, open-air decks, and backyards. Additionally, plans call for common amenities such as a private park, a tot lot, and a barbeque area.
Construction for Blossom Walk is anticipated to complete by summer 2022. The developer recently secured approvals to build 57 townhomes on a former redevelopment agency property at 250 North Central Avenue.
