A new residential project has been planned for development at 11700 Arkansas Street in Artesia. The project proposal includes the development of 59 townhomes and retails space on an industrial site located just north of the SR-91 freeway. Existing improvements include an El Pollo Loco restaurant and an automobile repair garage.
Irvine-based City Ventures is the project developer. WHA Architects is designing the project.

The project site is a parcel spanning an area of 4.2 acres. The project will bring 59 townhomes on the site along with 4,544 square feet of retail space. Out of the total residences, 22 units will be live/work units.
Renderings reveal a series of contemporary three-story buildings. The property will be arranged around a network of private roads, pedestrian paseos, and other landscaped spaces.
The site is located at the southwest corner of Arkansas Street and Pioneer Boulevard. Construction is expected to occur over a 24-month period, commencing in early 2023 and concluding in late 2024.
