A new hotel has been proposed for development at 1719 North Whitley Avenue in Hollywood, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the construction of a new ten-story hotel building with onsite parking. Plans call for the demolition of six onsite structures to make for the hotel.
Whitley Apartments LLC is listed as the project applicant. Daryoush Safai AIA Architect is responsible for the designs.

The project site is a parcels spanning 21,645 square feet. The scope of work includes the demolition of six structures with 40 dwelling units in order to construct a new ten-story hotel offering 156 guest rooms. Named Whitley Hotel, the hotel facade will rise to a height of 114 feet and yield a total built-up area of 99,375 square feet.
The hotel will also feature 122 automobile parking spaces, in three subterranean levels. The hotel will also have eight long-term bicycle parking spaces in subterranean parking garage and eight short-term bicycle parking spaces located on the 1st floor off of Whitley Avenue.

The first floor of the hotel will include the hotel lobby, a hotel gift shop, a business center, and a hotel coffee shop/lounge with outdoor seating. The 10th floor/rooftop of the hotel will include a gym and a roof deck with a pool, fire pit, and snack bar.
The Hollywood/Highland Metro Station is located approximately 0.4 miles to the west of the project site and the Hollywood/Vine Metro Station is located approximately 0.3 miles to the east of the project site.
