A new affordable housing project is under construction, taking shape and form at 4572 South Main Street in South Park, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the construction of a new four-story building offering spaces for residential units.

Eleos is the project developer.

Named RHEA, the scope of work includes the construction of a four-story building featuring 53 apartments. The project site is an L-shaped property spanning an area of 6,168 square feet. All 53 units will be designed as one-bedroom floor plans and will be reserved for low-income and extremely low-income households. Upon completion, the housing complex will also feature a small parking lot. Onsite amenities include a recreation room and a roof terrace.

Project entitlements include Transit Oriented Communities incentives permitting increased height, a reduction to required on-site open space, and additional density beyond zoning limits.
The project site is located at the southeast corner of Main Street and 47th Place. Though under construction, the exact market availability has not been announced yet.
