An affordable housing development for transition age youth is headed to the campus of an early childhood education center in Del Rey, per an application submitted recently to the Los Angeles Department of City Planning.
Allies for Every Child operates the campus just south of Culver Boulevard. It seeks approvals to redevelop a portion of its campus with 14 one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments, including 13 units for extremely low-income renters and one manager’s unit, with on-site supportive services.
Requested approvals include density bonus incentives to waive certain development standards.

The development site is located a short distance southwest for a recently-completed mixed-use apartment complex at the intersection of Culver and Inglewood Boulevards.
