A new affordable housing project has been proposed for development at 10912 West Huston Street in North Hollywood, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the construction of a new four-story building offering 38 apartments as affordable housing options.
Angeleno Investments is listed as the project applicant. Open Office is responsible for the designs.
The project site is a vacant parcel located east of Vineland Avenue. The scope of work includes the construction of a new four-story building offering 38 apartments designed as one-bedroom and two-bedroom floor plans. No on-site parking has been proposed at this time.
The project will move forward utilizing Mayor’s Executive Directive 1. Requested entitlements include density bonus incentives to permit waivers from certain zoning rules. All of the homes would be set aside for rent by low- and moderate-income households.
A project application was submitted recently to the Los Angeles Department of City Planning.
The apartment building will feature an exterior of metal and fiber cement panels.
