A new mixed-project is under construction taking shape and form at 3457 West Slauson Avenue in Hyde Park, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of a new five-story building offering spaces for residential and retail uses.
3475 Slauson, LLC is listed as the project applicant. Aero Collective is responsible for the designs.
The project broke ground two years ago, and now construction work can be seen in its full momentum for a mixed-use project that is supposed to rise five stories high. The project will bring 63 apartments and approximately 2,000 square feet of ground-floor restaurant space. The units will be constructed as a mix of studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom floor plans. Parking for 27 vehicles will also be provided on the site.
Renderings showcase a red exterior. Onsite amenities include a community room, a rooftop deck, and a garden.
The applicant secured approvals using Transit Oriented Communities incentives to permit a larger structure than zoning rules would typically allow. In exchange, seven units will be set aside for rent as extremely low-income affordable housing.
The estimated market availability is not known as of now. The project site is located a short walk west of Metro’s K Line in Hyde Park.
