A long-entitled multifamily project known as Riverglen II is under construction at 2624 Riverside Drive, along the west side of Riverside Drive between Glendale Boulevard and Fletcher Drive in the Silver Lake–Echo Park–Elysian Valley Community Plan area. Approvals allowed a series of connected four-story buildings totaling 120 dwellings. The project’s frontage sits immediately west of the I-5 and the Los Angeles River.
GMPA Architects is credited as the project architect. City filings list Menlo Trust as the applicant during entitlements.

The City approved a Vesting Tentative Tract Map, authorizing a 4-story, 120-unit project on the 252,454-square-foot net easterly portion of a 432,634-square-foot site in the RD2-1VL zone. Approvals also recognize retention of an existing 157-unit complex on the westerly portion of the property with a related variance history.
Conditions include a right-of-way dedication along Riverside Drive, infrastructure clearances, Urban Forestry requirements, and provision of 270 parking spaces (including 30 guest).

Architect renderings depict multiple four-story volumes linked by glass-enclosed connectors that house shared amenities. Planned amenities include a pool and recreation spaces integrated into the podium/connector program. The architect’s narrative references the movement of cars along the adjacent freeway as a design driver for the façade composition.
