A new apartment complex is under construction at 2931-2941 Olympic Boulevard in Koreatown, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of an eight-story high apartment complex with residences, retail space, onsite parking, and amenities.
Jamison Services is the project developer. Urban Architecture Lab is responsible for the design concepts.
Plans call for the construction of an eight-story building featuring 100 apartments – including 10 extremely low-income affordable units. Retail space spanning an area of 4,370 square feet will be developed on the ground floor along with two levels of basement parking.
Renderings reveal a podium-type building rising to a height of 97 feet. It features a stucco exterior wrapped with cantilevered balconies. Floor plans show common open spaces including a fitness center, a courtyard, a rooftop deck, and a swimming pool.
The project secured construction permits last month from the Department of Building and Safety. The project site is an L-shaped property lot located at the northeast corner of Olympic Avenue and Mariposa Avenue.
