A revamp for the Panorama Mall is in the works, at Rosco Boulevard and Van Nuys Boulevard, in Panorama City. The project has a maximum building height of 30 stories, not to exceed 350 feet. Primestor CFIC/CG, LLC is listed as the developer, with city and county officials collaborating on infrastructure support.

The redesign will require the demolition of the Panorama Mall, two fast food restaurants, a Walmart retail building, and the associated surface parking lot. The site is nearly 20 acres in size. The new, mixed use project will have a total of 5,187,000 square feet of development.

The site will have about 3,965,100 square feet of residential space, with up to 3,544 residential units. Commercial footage will be broken down between 389,000 square feet of commercial retail use, 84,800 square feet of restaurant use, 155,000 square feet of entertainment use, 479,300 square feet of office use, and up to 113,800 square feet of hotel use. Some of the zoned lots allow for event halls, museums, recording/movie studio space, and cinema use.

There will be two levels of below grade parking, at a depth of 25, requiring the export of up to 581,400 cubic yards of soil. The development will roll out in four distinct phases. It is expected to take 20 years to reach full operation, in 2043.
