A new affordable housing project has been proposed for development at 1327 West Boulevard in Mid-City, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the construction of new affordable housing proposed on an empty lot.

West Towers, LLC, a Los Angeles-based entity affiliated with Golshan Properties is the project applicant.

Plans call for the construction of a four-story building offering 27 residential apartments. The apartment building will yield a total built-up area spanning 12,900 square feet. The apartments will be built as a mix of 26 low- and extremely low-income units and one market-rate manager’s unit. The building façade will rise to a height of 43 feet. The project plans propose no on-site parking, however, the building will offer 28 long-term bicycle parking spaces and three-short term bicycle parking spaces on its ground floor.

The project site is located next to the Midtown Crossing shopping center. The project site sits just south of Pico Boulevard in Mid-City. The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet.
