A new residential project has been proposed for development at 4820 South Central Avenue in the neighborhood Central-Alameda in Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the construction of a five-story building offering spaces for residential units. For the project to proceed, a commercial building from the 1920s will be demolished.

Chris Limon is listed as the project applicant. Plans show that Corbel Architects is designing the project.

The proposed development calls for razing the existing improvements and redeveloping the site with a five-story building featuring 25 apartments. No on-site parking is proposed.

Requested entitlements include Transit Oriented Communities incentives which would permit a larger structure than otherwise permitted by zoning rules. In exchange, two of the new apartments would be set aside for rent as affordable housing at the extremely low-income level. The existing building last sold in 2016, according to city records.

Renderings reveal a contemporary low-rise structure. A project application has been submitted, and awaits review and approval. The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet.
