A new residential project has been proposed for development at at 26900 South Western Avenue in San Pedro. The project proposal includes the construction of 54 residences, spread throughout multiple seven-story residential buildings.
Meritage Homes is the project developer and applicant. Kevin L. Crook Architect, Inc. is responsible for the designs.
Named Cabrilla II, the residential project will bring 54 homes as well as parking for 121 vehicles. Architectural plans reveal a collection of seven interconnected buildings, each standing three stories in height with parking located at the ground level. The townhomes would include three-bedroom and four-bedroom floor plans, ranging from approximately 1,700 to 1,800 square feet in size.
Ponte Vista spans 61 acres of land that once was the site of the San Pedro Naval Housing complex. The complex will feature more than 670 homes when its full buildout is completed. More housing is on the way to the master planned Ponte Vista development in San Pedro. A project application was submitted last month to the Los Angeles Department of City Planning. The project awaits review and approval. The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet.
