New Rental Units Coming to 5425 West Carlton Way in East Hollywood, Los Angeles

A new residential development is set to rise at 5425 West Carlton Way, bringing 139 apartments to a block just north of Hollywood Boulevard in East Hollywood. The project, led by ROM Investments with design work by Steinberg Hart, has received full approval from the Los Angeles City Planning Commission. According to an information sheet shared with the East Hollywood Neighborhood Council, tenants temporarily displaced by the construction will be eligible for relocation assistance and have the right to return once the new units are ready.

A new affordable housing project will soon take shape and form at its project site located at 539 North Kenmore Avenue in East Hollywood, Los Angeles. The project proposal included the construction of a new five-story building offering 65 residential units as affordable housing. A fourplex on the site will be demolished for the project to begin construction. Thomas Beadel is listed as the project applicant. Stockton Architects is responsible for the designs.
