The proposal will replace a one-story office building and parking lot with new housing located near 26th Street/Bergamot Station. The project is developed by Orr Partners with design by Tighe Architecture.

The six-story development, backed by Community Corp. of Santa Monica, is set to deliver 71 income-restricted apartments just south of Colorado Avenue. Community Corp., a long-standing nonprofit builder of affordable housing, is spearheading the project. Architecture is being led by Kevin Tsai Architecture, which has prepared updated plans for the nearly 67,000-square-foot building.
