A new residential project has been proposed for development at 1441 Lincoln Boulevard in Santa Monica. The project proposal includes the development of a new eight-story building offering 90 apartments.
Hankey Capital is the project developer. Ottinger Architects is responsible for the designs.
The scope of work includes the development of an eight-story building featuring 90 apartments. The apartments will be developed as a mix of studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom floor plans. Nine apartments out of the total will be set aside for rent as affordable housing at the moderate-, low-, and very low-income levels. A subterranean parking garage with a capacity of 94 vehicles will also be developed on the site.
The project site formerly was supposed to feature a Builder’s Remedy high-rise, but now the site will house a smaller infill development. A project application was submitted to the City of Santa Monica seeking new approvals.
The estimated construction timeline has not been revealed yet.
