A set of new renderings have been published showcasing the upcoming proposed project at 1441 Lincoln Boulevard in Downtown Santa Monica. The project proposal includes the construction of a new eight-story building with 90 apartments.
Hankey Capital is listed as the project developer. Ottinger Architects is responsible for the designs.
The scope of work includes the construction of a new eight-story building offering 90 dwelling units, designed as a mix of studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom floor plans. The building will also feature a subterranean parking garage for 95 vehicles.

A project website provides more insight into the newly published plans and elevations. According to the project website, nine apartments will be set aside for rent as affordable housing at the moderate-, low-, and very low-income levels.
Renderings reveal a modern look for the podium-type building, with facade designed in white and blue colors lined by cantilevered balconies.
The project was proposed as one of 13 Builder’s Remedy projects which developer WS Communities agreed to process administratively with the City of Santa Monica in 2022. Previously, the scope of work included the development of a 12-story building offering 190 apartments.
The project site is located mid-block between Santa Monica Boulevard and Broadway.
