Additional Residential Living Coming to 1300 South Westwood Boulevard

With the recent approval from the city of Los Angeles, 1300 Westwood Development LLC have been cleared for the construction of a new multi-family living space. Located at 1300 South Westwood Boulevard this new project will be surrounded by commercial businesses, retail and offices as well as being located near the Westwood Gardens Park. The site will also be within walking distance from the future Metro Purple Line Rail and Metro Rapid 720 bus line.

The project’s dimension will be 25,693 square feet consisting of 31 residential units spread across the seven-story building. Four of these units will be reserved for Extremely Low-Income households. It will range from studio to two-bedroom units which will also vary in size and design. This new site will be 75 feet in height, 50 feet in width and 136 feet in length. The proposed complex will provide 2,457 square feet of open space and will also include a gym within it’s structure.

Maly Architects are responsible for the design and with the opportunity to create a modern environment that will attract new comers in their quest to find a living space. Currently a parking lot occupies the lot which is awaiting for demolition to take place in order for this project to begin.
