Construction is nearing structural height at 10412 Venice Boulevard in Culver City. California Landmark Group is the developer behind the project, entitled “The MV by CLG.” Renderings of the development were recently posted on their Facebook group, stating that it is “Coming soon to Culver City” and to “Stay tuned.”
The building will be eight stories tall. It will be 86 feet tall, 169 feet long, and 97 feet wide, with 62,319 square feet of floor area. Seventy-nine residential apartment units will be on the upper floors. Eight of those units will be extremely low-income housing.
Office and garage space will be on the first floor. There will be room for two disabled, ten compact, and 40 standard parking spaces. The location of the site is close to 187, with bus stops on the intersecting corners with Motor Avenue. 62 long-term and six short-term bicycle parking spaces will be available for alternative transportation.
Patrick Tighe Architecture and PK Architecture designed the structure, which has a podium-type form. PK Architecture recently completed another mixed-use development with CLG a few minutes drive away at 13365 West Washington Boulevard, entitled “Landmark 19.” The initial permit valuation, at the time of filing, was $10.5 million.
