The city will soon have a new hotel added, and site preparation has begun for a hotel proposed at 11814-11824 Aviation Boulevard, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the demolition of an empty commercial building and the construction of a new hotel.
Hawthorne-based firm William Ashley Inc is the project developer and purchased the land in 2016.

The project site is a parcel that spans an area of almost half an acre. The project will bring a six-story building featuring 128 guest rooms. An on-site parking space with a capacity of 50 vehicles is planned. Guests can enjoy a swimming pool on the property.
Hilton was previously supposed to operate the hotel. Renderings reveal a contemporary podium-style building design. The rooms are planned in a C-shaped footprint around a courtyard.

The estimated project construction timeline has not been revealed yet.
The project site is located in the unincorporated community of Del Aire. The hotel is not the only project to be developed in proximity to Aviation/LAX station. Another residential complex opened south of the station.
