A new mixed-use development has been proposed at a site located at 1930 South La Cienega Boulevard in Mid-City, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of a mixed-use building offering residential and commercial spaces. The property site currently serves as a used car dealership.
Broman Properties is the project developer and owner. California Development & Design Inc is managing the design concepts and construction.

The new development will bring a five-story building featuring residential units and ground-floor commercial space. The residential units will be offered as a mix of 44 one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom dwelling units. The commercial space will span an area of 8,100 square feet on the ground floor. A semi-subterranean parking space with a capacity of 115 vehicles will be planned on the site. Five apartments will be set aside as affordable housing units in exchange for Transit-Oriented Communities incentives allowing for increased density and floor area
The application material has been submitted to the P.I.C.O Neighborhood Council’s Land Use Committee. A council meeting has been scheduled for July 22 at 6:30 PM.

Renderings reveal a contemporary design for the podium-style building. The facade will be developed in stucco, wood sidings, and metal panels. On-site amenities include a terrace and amenity decks.
The property site sits north of Kaiser West Los Angeles, located southwest of the Mid-City neighborhood adjacent to other multifamily housing complexes.
