Three Multifamily Projects Advance In Palms, Hollywood, and Mar Vista

Los Angeles City Planning Commission has voted in favor of sanctioning new multifamily projects in Palms, Hollywood, and Mar Vista neighborhoods in Los Angeles.

Palms

West Los Angeles Area Planning Commission approved requested entitlements for the residential project proposed at 10401 West Washington Boulevard in Palms. California Landmark Group is the project developer. Abramson Architects is managing the design concepts and construction.

The project proposal includes replacing a thrift store to construct an eight-story apartment building featuring 112 apartments, including 15 low-income affordable units. A ground-floor commercial space spanning an area of 2,000 square feet is planned. A parking space with a capacity of 71 vehicles is also proposed.

Hollywood

5600 Hollywood Boulevard

5600 Hollywood Boulevard via HKS Architects

Los Angeles Planning Commission approved the adoption of an environmental report submitted for a proposed eighteen-story apartment tower at 5600 Hollywood Boulevard. Bow West Capital is the project developer. HKS Architects is managing the conceptual plans and construction. 

The project proposal includes the construction of an apartment complex containing 200 one and two-bedroom dwellings, including 40 deed-restricted low-income housing. A subterranean parking space with a capacity of 265 vehicles is also proposed.

Mar Vista

11961 Venice Boulevard

11961 Venice Boulevard

The third approved project is a five-story apartment building at 11961 Venice Boulevard in Mar Vista. The new apartment building will bring 38 residential units.

The estimated construction timelines for these projects have not been announced yet.
