Exterior has taken shape and form for a hotel at 1523 North Wilcox Avenue in Hollywood, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of a hotel, replacing a small commercial building on the site. The hotel is operated by Hyatt Hotels Corporation.
Relevant Group is the project developer. Steinberg Hart and Roschen Van Cleve Architects are responsible for the design concepts and construction. The hotel showcases interiors designed by Tara Bernerd & Partners.
Named Thompson Hotel, the project will bring an eleven-story structure featuring 190 guest rooms. The hotel will offer sixteen suites as well as a restaurant by chef Lincoln Carson. A rooftop lounge with a swimming pool named Bar Lis will also be constructed on the site.
Renderings reveal a concrete-frame structure rising to a height of 115 feet. The architecture is inspired by the West Coast Modernist movement, showcasing timber, custom terrazzo, and onyx finishes.
The Thompson Hollywood hotel is one of the Thompson hotels anticipated to debut in 2021.

So if construction is completed… why not post photos of the actual building? Why post the renderings?
Looks like you deleted my comment… interesting.
