A new apartment complex will soon be replacing a trio of single-family houses at 926 South Kingsley Drive in Koreatown, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of 89 apartments on a lot combined of three parcels.

Kian Investment, LLC is the project applicant. Sam Ghanouni is responsible for the design concepts.

Plans call for the construction of a seven-story edifice featuring 89 apartments. The apartments will be offered as a mix of one-bedroom and two-bedroom dwellings. A two-level subterranean parking garage with a capacity of 133 cars will be developed on the site.

The project applicant has requested entitlements using Transit Oriented Communities incentives to permit increased density and floor area beyond zoning limits, as well as decreases to required setbacks and on-site open space. In exchange, nine of the new apartments are to be priced as affordable housing at the extremely low-income level.
