A new project with residential units and hotel space has been proposed at 1415 North Cahuenga Boulevard in Hollywood, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the construction of a seven-story mixed-use development featuring apartments and hotel rooms with onsite parking and amenities.

Plus Development is the project developer. Post Group and Hawkins\Brown Architects have teamed up to design the project.

The property site is located near Sunset Boulevard & Cahuenga Boulevard, with the Godfrey Hotel recently opened across the street.

The project proposes a mix of multifamily housing and a hotel. Plans call for the construction of a seven-story building featuring 100 hotel rooms and 82 apartments, including 10 affordable units. The building’s total footprint is 102,000 square feet. The building will also feature commercial space on the ground floor. Parking for 157 vehicles will be provided in four levels beneath the new construction, which will replace a two-story office building at DeLongpre Avenue and Cole Place.

The design for the project includes a sculptural roofline, contrasting the hotel windows with the facade of neighboring buildings. Plans call for fluted metal cladding on the hotel, while the residential side of the building will be lined with balconies.

An estimated construction timeline for the project has not been announced.
