A new mixed-use complex has been unveiled at 500 Broadway in downtown Santa Monica. The project proposal includes the development of
a mixed-use complex offering residential and retail spaces.

Witkoff and New Valley LLC are the project developers. Koning Eizenberg Architecture is responsible for the design concepts.

Named The Park, the mixed-use apartment complex is a seven-story building, offering 249 apartments and retail space. The units are developed as a mix of studios, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom apartments. The retail space will span an area of 55,000 square feet on the ground floor. A basement parking garage is also developed on the site. According to the leasing website, the rent will start from $4,350 per month.

Renderings reveal a contemporary design with setbacks and multiple courtyards at street level, providing publicly-accessible open space for both passersby and ground-floor commercial tenants. The building’s name derives from a one-acre open space on the rooftop, featuring a gym, a pool deck, seating, and observation areas.

The project site is located at the southeast corner of the intersection of 5th Street and Broadway.
