Two months after breaking ground, a new senior housing complex is under construction at 11141 Washington Boulevard in Culver City, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of a five-story apartment building offering residential units, assisted living, retail space, and onsite parking.

SRM Development and Westmont Living are the project developers. Runberg Architecture Group is responsible for the design concepts.

The project will bring a five-story building featuring 134 residential units, including 154 assisted living and memory care beds. The building will also feature retail space on the ground floor spanning an area of 2,300 square feet. Subterranean parking for 84 vehicles will also be developed on the premises.

Renderings reveal an exterior finish expressed in brick, aluminum, stucco, and fiber cement panels. Plans call for two courtyards on the property, including one which will be located at ground level facing Washington Boulevard.

According to a community presentation given in 2020, rents for the assisted living apartments are expected to range from $4,500 per month for a studio unit to $6,000 per month for a two-bedroom unit. That same presentation indicated that construction would take approximately 18 months.
