A new residential project has been unwrapped at 118 S. Astronaut Ellison S. Onizuka Street in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the construction of a nine-story building offering residential units and retail space. The project replaced a surface parking lot on the site.
Beverly Hills-based Etco Homes is the project developer. Bucilla Group Architecture is responsible for the designs.

Named Āto, the mixed-use building will offer 77 residential units and retail space on the ground floor. The residential units are developed as a mix of one-bedroom and two-bedroom condominiums. A subterranean parking garage is also provided on the site.
The building rises 120 feet in height and showcases a steel frame structure. Renderings reveal a contemporary mid-rise building with a rooftop amenity deck. Onsite amenities include a swimming pool, a gym, and a barbeque area.
The condominiums are priced starting in the high $500,000s. The property site is located across the street from the Weller Court shopping mall in Little Tokyo.
