A new set of updated renderings have been revealed for a high-rise office tower proposed for development at 1950 South Avenue of the Stars in Century City. The project proposal includes the construction of a 37-story tower offering spaces for office use.

JMB Realty is the project developer. Architecture firm Johnson Fain is responsible for the designs.

Upon completion, the proposed tower will be the new home of CAA. It will feature 730,000 square feet of offices on a site abutting the under-construction Century City Metro station. It will also include retail space, and abut two acres of gardens and courtyards atop a basement garage. The project site is located at the northeast corner of Avenue of the Stars and Constellation Boulevard.

The building will rise to a height of 564 feet. Rendering reveal a modern design incorporating form, function, sustainability, and connectivity into the structure and aesthetics. The tower will have a tapered and highly sculptured profile, with varying patterns of its glass skins providing high identity to each floor. The plans feature space orientation to maximize office views, increase both natural light and comfort and minimize heat and energy consumption. Inside, the two-story lobby will be wrapped in floor-to-ceiling glass and outdoor paving materials while plantings will bring the plaza gardens directly into the building. The outdoor transit plaza will be a contemporary garden environment ringed with retail amenities and low-rise creative office space.

Bjarke Ingels Group is designing its new CAA office, which will include dining areas, meeting rooms, and event spaces. More recently, it was reported that Clearlake Capital has agreed to pre-lease 150,000 square feet of space within the building, accounting for its top eight floors.
