A new mixed-use residential project has been appealed for construction at 8331 West 3rd Street in Beverly Grove. The project proposal includes the construction of an eight-story building offering spaces for residential and commercial uses.

Downtown-based Jade Enterprises is the project applicant and property owner. Next Architecture is responsible for the designs.

A vacant corner lot is primed for redevelopment with multifamily housing and retail. The developer is seeking approvals for the construction of an eight-story mixed-use building offering 77 units, designed as a mix of studios, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom apartments. Ground floor commercial space spanning 10,640 square feet will be designed. Podium-style parking for 40 vehicles is also proposed to be included.

Requested entitlements for the project include density bonus incentives permitting a larger building than would typically be allowed by zoning rules for the property. In exchange, eight of the apartments will be set aside for rent as very low-income affordable housing.

Named Third + Flores for its cross-streets of 3rd and Flores Streets, plans show a contemporary podium-type building clad in wood and metal panels, as well as stucco. On-site amenities include a podium courtyard, a fitness room, a recreation room, and a sky deck. Once approved, the mixed-use building will rise four blocks down the street from the Beverly Center.

  3. We would like to apply for affordable housing program units in your building. Seniors with very low income level. Please respond

  4. YIMBY doesn’t own the building, why are you all asking them to allow you to apply?
(Are these requests on every post all bots?)
