A new hotel has been proposed doe development at 3640 West Century Boulevard in Inglewood. The project proposal includes the construction of a Marriott-brand hotel, Fairfield Inn, rising five stories high. The hotel will replace an existing vacant structure on the site.
AXIS/GFA is the architecture firm responsible for the designs. Interiors are being designed by Level 3 Design Group.
The new Fairfield by Marriott has already received approvals from Inglewood’s Planning Division. Upon completion, the project will bring a new five-story hotel featuring 150 guest rooms on its upper floors, with a new ground-floor bar and lounge planned below. The hotel will be developed near SoFi Stadium and Intuit Dome. Guests will be able to enjoy the scenic 6th-floor amenity deck, with northern vistas of SoFi Stadium, the Santa Monica Mountains, and the iconic Hollywood Hills beyond.
Renderings reveal a low-rise structure, opening onto an exterior amenity space facing Century Boulevard to the north. The project received entitlements in September 2023. The eco-conscious hotel design supports sustainability architecture, and is on track to achieve LEED Gold certification.
Bhagat Investments – Century, LLC, which previously owned and operated the Rodeway Inn at 3940 West Century Boulevard, is the project developer. Property records list the manager of the entity as Jignesh Patel of Manhattan Beach.
Construction is expected to commence in March 2024, with completion set to occur in March 2026.
