A new hotel project has been proposed for development at 3434 West 6th Street in Koreatown, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the conversion of an existing office building to provide space for hotel rooms. The office building that will be converted was constructed in the 1950s.

M and C Property Management, LLC is listed both as the project applicant and property owner. Architecture Studio MA, Inc. is responsible for the designs.

The scope of work includes the conversion of a four-story office structure into a hotel that will offer 52 guest rooms. The proposed hotel will also offer space for commercial use.

In 2022, the Los Angeles Planning Commission approved the reuse of the office building with upper levels converted to space for guest rooms and at-grade parking converted to restaurant space. Additional restaurant and bar space is being built directly east of the hotel on a surface parking lot.

Plans call for providing five parking spaces on-site, most parking would be provided through leased spaces at an off-site garage located at 550 South Kenmore Avenue.

The site is located at the southeast corner of 6th Street and Kenmore Avenue, midway between the Wilshire/Vermont and Wilshire/Normandie subway stations. Chapman Plaza sits across the street from the office building.
