A new affordable housing project has been planned for development at 1134 North Westmoreland Avenue in East Hollywood, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of a new five-story building offering 98 affordable housing units. If approved, the project will require the existing two duplex residences to be demolished.

1134 Westmoreland, LLC is listed as the project applicant. 64North is responsible for the designs.

The project applicant has requested for approvals to build affordable housing on two parcels. The scope of work includes the development of a five-story building offering 98 residential units. The units will be designed as a mix of studios and one-bedroom floor plans. No onsite parking has been proposed.

The project will be developed using Mayor’ s Executive Directive 1. Density bonus incentives have also been requested to permit a larger structure than would be allowed by base zoning. A project application has been submitted to the Los Angeles Department of City Planning, pending review and approve. The estimated construction timeline has not been revealed yet.
