A new mixed-use project is under construction taking shape and form at 3020 Wilshire Boulevard in Koreatown, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of a new eight-story building offering spaces for residential and retail uses. The project called for the demolition of the existing onsite commercial buildings.
Bando Dela Corp is the project developer. KTGY is responsible for the designs.
The project site can be seen developed with a subterranean garage for a new mixed-use complex rising eight stories high. Plans call for the development of an eight-story mixed-sue complex offering 262 units and commercial space spanning an area of 10,000 square feet. The units are being designed as a mix of studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom floor plans. Parking will be provided for 359 vehicles.
Renderings reveal ample space for a courtyard swimming pool and roof decks. Onsite amenities include a fitness center, a game room, and co-working space.
The project is a by-right project and doesn’t require density bonus incentives to allow the planned density and building envelope. No affordable units will be provided.
The project site is looted across the street from the historic Bullocks Wilshire buildings.
