The scope of work includes the construction of a five-story building offering 49 apartments as affordable housing. All units will be designed as one-bedroom floor plans. No on-site parking has been proposed at this time.
The project will be executed via Mayor’s Executive Directive 1. A project application was recently submitted to the Los Angeles Department of City Planning. Requested entitlements include density bonus incentives to permit a larger building than zoning rules would otherwise allow. The project eligible, as the apartments are to be restricted to rent by low- and moderate-income households.
Renderings showcase a modern low-rise structure featuring a rooftop amenity deck.
The project site sits one block to the west of the US-101 Freeway. The estimated construction timeline has not been revealed yet.
