A new affordable housing complex has reached completion at its project site located at 7600 Pacific Boulevard in Walnut Park, Los Angeles.
Hollywood Community Housing is the project developer. Koning Eizenberg Architecture is responsible for the designs.

The scope of work includes the development of a new affordable housing complex rising four stories high. The complex will offer 64 apartments designed as a mix of one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom floor plans. Parking is also proposed for 48 vehicles in the basement level.
Once completed, the apartments will be deed-restricted affordable to households earning no more than 40 percent of the area median income for a period of 55 years.

Renderings reveal two buildings that connect by pedestrian bridges and share a courtyard at ground level. Other components of the project include a 1,600-square-foot community room, a resident’s lounge, a computer room, a laundry facility, and offices for administrative and supportive services staff.
The project site sits one block north of a vacant half-acre lot at Pacific Boulevard and Grand Avenue which L.A. County recently redeveloped into a public park.
