A new residential project has been approved for development at 15333 Crenshaw Boulevard in Alondra Park. The project proposal includes the construction of an eight-story building offering spaces for residential uses. The project will replace a commercial building on the site.
Vargas Properties is listed as the project developer. Bubaira Haque is responsible for the designs. Rahman Engineering Inc is the project engineer.
The scope of work includes the development of a new eight-story building to be used as multifamily residential complex. The eight-story building will offer 253 apartments and parking for 99 vehicles. The units will be designed as a mix of studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom floor plans.
The project will be executed with the help of density bonus incentives that permit larger structures than zoning rules would typically allow. Out of the total, 23 of the apartments will be reserved for individuals and households earning between 30 and 80 percent of the area’s median income.
A project application was recently approved by the Los Angeles County Department of Regional Planning. The estimated construction timeline has not been revealed yet.
