A new residential project has been approved for development at 2322 South Amherst Avenue in Sawtelle, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the construction of a new eight-story building offering 114 apartments. The project will replace four single-family homes on the site.
2328 Amherst Ave, LLC is the project developer. KFA Architecture is responsible for the designs.
The scope of work includes the construction of a new eight-story building offering 114 apartments. All apartments will be designed as one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom floor plans. Additionally, 13 units will be available as extremely low-income affordable housing. The multi-family residential building will offer parking for 113 vehicles.
The project will utilize Transit Oriented Communities incentives, allowing the construction of a larger building than zoning rules would normally permit due to proximity to the nearby metro stop.
The project site is located near Metro’s Expo/Bundy Station. The estimated construction timeline has not been revealed yet.
